Electives Class starting a New Book

Posted by andrew on March 1, 2016

The Electives Class is starting a new book: Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life by Richard Rohr. From the inside jacket cover: “With rare insight, Rohr takes us on a journey to give us an understanding of how the heartbreaks, disappointments, and first loves of life are actually stepping stones to the spiritual joys that the second half of life has in store for us.”
If the book sounds intriguing, and if you have been wanting to join a Sunday School class for the fellowship and encouragement of your faith journey, please join us in the fellowship hall at 9:30 on Sunday mornings.

“Shine” during Sunday School

Posted by andrew on January 15, 2016

The Shine curriculum this fall for our Primary Sunday School department (ages 3-5th grade) is about Hearing God’s Call. We gather to hear God call us to worship and leadership. We experience friendship and how to show kindness. We explore ways to trust God and remember His faithfulness. We are blessed by His compassion and love. There is plenty of room for more – please “Shine” with us!!
