Have you ever asked or been asked questions about your faith to which you had no answers? Most, if not all of us, have at some point in our lives run into questions that are difficult to answer, and whether we are doing for our own benefit or the benefit of others, searching for these answers can be a frustrating process.
In this situation, a session with a pastor very useful, but I have found a few other sources that I found helpful. In our very own library, we have a book entitled Letters from a Skeptic by Gregory A. Boyd. This book is a dialogue through letters between a Christian son and his agnostic father. After numerous efforts to get his father to listen to the message of Christ, Greg writes to his father, suggesting a discussion via letters instead of a face-to-face conversation. The result is this series of letters containing a number of very difficult questions and doubts and Greg’s well-reasoned, well-researched answers.
This book is a useful tool both for Christians with questions and for those who are interested in apologetics. I highly recommend it, along with the many other resources in our library!
