On Sunday, October 2, the Deacons are planning to observe Love Feast for
the first time since the start of the pandemic. At 9:30 we will assemble in the
Multi-Purpose Room to celebrate this special ordinance.
Love Feast is a simple service that involves the act of feet washing (an act
of servanthood and cleansing), eating together the Fellowship Meal, and
partaking in Bread and Cup Communion. For those who are unable to
participate in feet washing, the act of hand washing will be provided.
Please join us for this significant time in which we share our love and
devotion to one another. The Deacons will monitor COVID rates and decide
closer to the service whether Love Feast can be held safely. If we do not think
it’s safe to have the full Love Feast, we will hold a service that includes Bread
& Cup Communion and incorporates themes from Love Feast in observance of
Jesus’ sacrifice for us.
