On Sunday, February 19th, Little Acorns had its first Open House. Several families from the community came and visited the new classroom. Many wonderful, positive comments were made about the school’s philosophy and programs’ descriptions, in addition to the physical appearance. A big thank you goes to Andrea Brown, Vicki Yeager and the Sunday School staff in helping to prepare the room for families to visit. And to all of the individuals who helped to distribute our school brochure to the many houses in our community. I appreciate all of the legwork they did in helping to get our school information out to the public.
The school is in need of a gently used wooden dollhouse, along with dolls and furniture, and gently used wooden cars and a car mat. In addition, our play kitchen is in need of play food and serving materials (i.e. dishes, cups…). If interested in making a donation, please contact me via email, email@example.com.
If you were unable to attend February’s Open House, or know of a family who would like to see the school, I am planning on having more Open Houses over the next few months. As always, I am available to meet with families outside of our Open Houses.
