Biblical scholars Bob Neff and Christina Bucher take us beyond the Psalter to delve into the Bible’s devotional texts and their varied spiritual “dispositions.” How do these ancient expressions of piety compare to the modern ones we know best? How can the biblical examples enrich our own spiritual lives? How can they help us to understand religious expressions different from our own?
