Vacation Bible School
July 8-12, 2013
All around us there are things popping up as being “interactive.” Interactive TV shows let you vote for how the show ends, or which contestant you want to win. Interactive maps let you zoom in and see things on a street level, turn around and see what’s across from or next to the location you are going to. Interactive worship that invites you to communicate with the Pastor, each other, or do something hands on.
This just in. We are bringing you the first ever interactive Greeter article! It’s simple to participate and doesn’t take much. No need to dial in or log on to cast your vote. Simply grab your calendar – whether it be on your phone, iPad, computer, day planner, or hanging on the wall. Don’t sit down yet. Next you’ll need a pen (or stylus or keyboard depending on where you store your calendar).
Ready? Here it comes! Now flip or scroll your calendar to July and mark the week of July 8-12 as Vacation Bible School 2013 at Green Tree. The time will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. this year. (Make special note, this is later than past years!).
Now, with calendars marked, we ask you to prayerfully consider helping to make this year’s VBS a success. We can’t do it without all of you!
If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to a member of this year’s planning committee: Kim Hallman, Pat Leiter, Desiree Maurer, or Kimberly Szabo.
