It’s the 55th year of CROP Walks! Green Tree is participating in the Collegeville/Trappe CROP Walk again this year. CROP Hunger Walks raise funds to help Church World Service (CWS) feed the hungry around the world. CWS also uses the funds to provide seeds, tools, and programs that will help families to feed themselves in the future. 25% of what is raised will go to St. James’ Outreach House in Collegeville.
The Collegeville/Trappe CROP Walk is Sunday, October 12, starting at the Trinity Reformed UCC on Main Street. Registration starts at 1 p.m., the walk starts at 1:30. Donations for the CROP Walk may be placed in the offering – cash in an envelope marked “CROP Walk” and checks made payable to Green Tree with “CROP Walk” on the memo line. You may also donate or register as a walker online on Green Tree’s team page.
